Of Ice and Fire
Some men’s hearts burn, others freeze.
Some men have fiery determination,
Others of man contain icy logic’s heath
All desiring the icy fire of power’s creation
When the last thing that any will feel
Is the being at the burning heart of all,
Fixing our fates, with the ice and fire seal
Before which man’s frozen will shall fall
Burning smoke and billowing steam shall signify
The burning destiny of our cold as death race
Whether by ice or fire, we shall live or die
The last decision of man’s passion will trace
The purity of hope at fire’s end shall one find
Only when all things have frozen and died
